My T is wonderful!

I decided I had to "get it out" so I emailed T my thoughts and feelings about the EMDR session. I did not need or expect a reply, and I told her that. But she already emailed back, and it was less than an hour after I wrote! I can't believe it!

In part, she said "I know we agreed I wouldn't write back unless you asked me to, but I want to respond to the great work you did in the session and I'm so excited that it continues to unfold for you."

I feel so good about Kt and this therapy. It's just what I need right now. I just wish Tuesday were here already so that I can continue.

For those of you "stuck" in therapy or feeling frustrated, please consider trying a different T or a new approach. I never thought I would be writing this, but it really is happening to me!

This is so great to hear! I hope you save that email and look back on it from time to time as a tangible reminder of your T's care for you.
