We terminated toady because I can't afford to keep seeing T. Maybe some time in the fall, but I don't think I will be able to afford it even then. She is going to give me a referral to the university center. I hate this. I feel numb right now, but it still hurts so much. And it's not like I can blame her. I feel so alone. And the ironic (or maybe sad) thing was that I forgot to pay her and so have to send her the last payment.

I hate my life.

oh no! this is terrible news! i'm so sorry to hear that, i can't imagine what you're feeling right now. was this sudden? how long had you been seeing her? do you even want a referral? (sorry if these questions are too much.)

i wish there was something i could say to make you feel better. can you do some imagery? sometimes that helps me get through. like picture your future self with money in your pocket and being able to afford whatever kind of therapy that you want and need. see yourself smiling and happy and at peace with yourself. be as detailed as possible with your clothing, the noises you hear, the things you see and smell..

If you aren't taking classes over the summer maybe you could find some work and you could save that money for therapy, then next fall schedule your classes so you could fit a small job in there somewhere? I don't know at all if this would work for you; it is my way of wanting to fix this for you, I guess.

This sounds really hard and scary. I'm sorry it is happening to you.
Maybe something good can come of it, and the T you get at the university center will be wonderful. But I know it is hard to trust someone new.

Thank you everyone for your support. Everything just feels like too much right now. I called to make a pdoc appointment for next week and found out that the clinic closes at 1pm on Fridays because it is the summer. Ugh. Nothing is working.
