do any of you feel like this is the forum (treatments and self-care strategies > psychotherapy) where you essentially have to post? i do.

sometimes i have stuff going on, but i always make sure it relates to "psychotherapy" in some way - just so i can post it here. i feel like the people that are often on this particular forum have become like a second family of sorts, and posting elsewhere i don't get quite the same support. just wondering if anyone else has felt this way..

I totally feel the same way! Just make sure you say something about T and they won't move it. Lol.

I feel the exact same way!!! It's on this forum where my pocket peeps are located...and where I know to find them when I need them....

Most definitely! I've been trying to figure out whether I want to post something which is really only tangentially related to therapy, but I can't imagine posting it anywhere else

I definitely feel like this board is my "home" here on PC. I think it's ok, I mean, if I post here a lot then this is where the people that "know" me are, so it makes me want to keep posting here. I do sometimes post on other boards, but not often. I think it's partially because this is where my people are, and partially because therapy is the big thing in my life that I can't talk about with any of my other friends. I have other friends I can talk to if I'm depressed or anxious, but most people don't understand how huge therapy is and how hard it can be. But I know the people here do. It's helped me so SO much.

Me too. My question about SI was prompted by the other thread mentioning SIing. I get lost when stuff gets moved. But I understand the need for structure.

Yes, I'm pretty much just here. I feel like I know people here

I do pop in to other boards from time to time, but it's pretty rare.

I'm do glad to have this board and all of you

Thanks for this!

If you ever look at how many people are on the forums, Psychotherapy always has by far the most...

About 90% of my posting is done on this forum. I do it here because i can't talk about therapy to friends or family. Most people aren't comfortable with talking about it and tend to avoid the subject.

I think many people who are on the site itself are also in therapy.
And then there are the psycho-geeks...
