and if you pray, or prefer to send good vibes or positive thoughts or even say "may the Force be with you," you can do that too

I'm up at 2:00 with little chance of regaining any sleep, too nervous about pdoc appointment today. I was all excited and amped to have this appointment and talk about possible additional aspects of my chemically challenged brain - until the PMS monster hit and my husband insisted that I bring that up above all else... now I'm scared to death. No, I don't know why really, I just am.

So please spare a thought for me at 9:45 pacific time, if you can!

That's in quite awhile! I'd try to get some rest before then? I'm up too early too and thinking of a shower and going back to bed earlier than I would (normally would go back about your 9:45 and miss most of the middle of my day :-)

Dearest phrick,

Breathe, get back that excitement and let the words of the pms monster just roll off your back. Fingers crossed for you and hoping that everything turns out perfectly for you ...prayers are on their way...good vibes sent too

Post-appointment anxiety has worn off some, so here's what we came up with:

1 - discontinue Lexapro (she says, AD-induced insomnia is relatively uncommon - but "you're my Uncommon Side Effects patient!")

2 - discuss Mirena IUD with my gyn (as it happens I have an appt Sept 1)

3 - resort to Prozac the week before & week of if absolutely necessary but only during those two weeks per month

4 - get therapy woman! (paraphrased; of course she was much more diplomatic )

That's right wolf, phrick it all! LOL

Today has been surreal. Very calm, it's eerie after a) so little sleep overnight (just 2 hours) and b) several days of dealing with the PMS Monster at full roar. It's spooky, I have to say. I don't get spooked easily as a rule, but I kind of am tonight, wondering what tomorrow might bring - was today easy because I need the rest in order to deal with tomorrow?

Good work phrick!

Hmmm... questions though...why use prozac for the **pms monster** when VitB6 & B12 would work much quicker and would have none of the problems connected to prozac?

**must state too that to me the PMS monster is the ex hubby**

O.o....Tomorrow will worry for itself my darling. We only have this moment to somehow affect.Try to rest and free your mind so that your body can relax and the mind can rejuvinate.Easier said than done.(((Phrick)))

thanks Wolf. Turns out I was right after all though, i've been nothing but a wooly monster all morning. I hate myself when I'm like this. I wish the period would hurry up and show its face already, as i generally get relief by day 2
