You guys are so awesome! Thank you so much. I am here...
I have been very.... hum..... well, not low, but shut-down. Emotional numbing.
I am supposed to see T tommorow and they are predicting even more snow!! I don't know if I will get to go or not now but I kinda think I need to go.

Work just gets more and more strange and I am not happy about any of that. I have had it and I think the emotional numbing is an effort to keep me from really going off in the anger direction. Just too much at the same time.

I have been reading as much as I can and trying to keep up with others here on PC. Just not sure what to reply and don't want to bring others down with my very bad attitude right now :-) Big hugs!!!
Thanks for this!

Wepow - I think I feel a lot like you right now. Work is getting a bit much for me; so I'm starting to become numb to everything around me; my colleagues, my bosses, my responsibilities. I just don't want to do anything anymore.

Good to have you pop back in - keep you chin up and know we do care about you

(((((WePow)))))

Your posts always tend to be very supportive, insightful and spot on! I have also noticed that you have been kind of withdrawn these days. I hope you get to a better place soon and that we hear more of your views when you're ready.
Thanks for this!

Well now I am going between breaking down in tears and the total numbness state. They are calling for 3-5 inches of snow in my area tonight !!! UGGGG! I can work from home, but I will not be able to see my T if we get snowed in !!!! I think I will have to call him just to hear him. But that little kid part of me wants to see him so much that it hurts!!! I want to just go see him and be safe again. :-( I hate it that therapy sometimes makes you feel so little and exposed this way. I sent T an email with this picture and told him it was how he makes me feel - that I am this baby porcupine but feel safe in T's hands and not all poking out all over the place.

I saw him 9 days ago - last Monday ....
Yes, I HATE working from home.
They don't clean or salt side roads here in southern USA. Our roads are unsafe even at 1 inch if it is not warm enough to melt the snow. :-(

i love the snow, but the same here where i live, in a snow storm most of the state shuts down....
i really hope you get to see t, and if you can't , can you schedule a phone session so hopefully you can connect on a different level

it is hard when we "need" to see t and life happens

hang in there and please stay safe, sending safe hugs
Thanks for this!

WePow...we are supposed to get snow around here tomorrow or the next day...so sick of this snow cutting into my T time. I mean doesn't nature know that I have therapy to get to!?!?

I hope you get to see your T tomorrow

I hope you're able to see T. I had to miss therapy because of snow a few weeks ago, but T came in the next day to see me....we both drove over some crazy icy roads to get there, but it was worth it.

If you miss tomorrow, maybe you can reschedule for the next day or two?

Waiting and uncertainty are SO hard.

Thanks for this!

Well, I made it into work!!! We did get snow but not as much as they said. So I HOPE my T will be able to make it into his office. Now the game of "wait and see" ... No doubt he wants to be paid - so I think he will be there :-) One of the benifits of paying money to see a T :-)
