Well, I'm starting group therapy next week. I'll have individual therapy with T onced a week and group another day the same week.
These are all current clients of his.
I've done group before and it was OK.
Not sure I really want to know my T's other clients. Sounds silly, doesn't it?
Anyone care to share their group experiences or lend advice?
Thanks!

I have to get ready to leave for my session with T, but I will certainly comment more when I get back since I've been in group for about 2 years. But can you share what type of group therapy this is? Mine is gestalt based.

And no, it's not silly at all about not wanting to know T's other clients....if you've read the other thread about this, you'll see that there are a lot of people who feel similarly. So know that you are not alone.

I just read that thread. Good one too. It's just group therapy. I think he wants to let the group run itself. There's no method to it at this point. It's brand new.
