I just want to say a big thanks to those who PM'd me today and have encouraged me to stick around and keep posting. As you can see that is what I am doing.
I saw T today. First time since she returned from her holiday. It went really well. I updated her about the meeting I had with work people (I had sent her a text about it but was very brief with it) and went into all the details with her. Talked to her about a few other things that I tried this week and a some other thing that were good ie; no SI in over a week, no purging in a few days, eating each day. She said that she was thrilled for me and very proud of me. Then she asked me how did that feel inside GLUG! -HELLO T!? You know positive comments literally make me feel like puking because my brain is so used to focusing on the positive. I just made a face at her and she said "Lemme guess, you wanna puke right?" Yup. She suggested that I add these things to my appreciation lists that she made me write about myself. I guess I must've scowled, lol, because she said "I am serious. Do it. Write down the good things you did, the good things that I said about you, and the great characteristics about yourself that you exhibited this week." So I guess I have to because she will know if I don't when she looks at my homework next week... |

Yeah!! Cats is back!
I had to kinda chuckle to myself when I read your response to Rapidcycla. All I could think about was, for me at least, that secretly...... deep down inside....... how I'd hate that my T knew me that well, but also how good it would feel that someone knew me so well, and cared about me sooooo much, that she actually wouldn't let you get away with stuff that's not good for you. I LOVE THAT! I'm glad you're back Cats. Now- no more leaving us again- ok? |

great to see you here!
 and actually, even if it makes you feel like squirming and rolling your eyes and sighing, it's good to have a T who knows and understands you well and really gets you. mine does.....she is really direct with me, sees through me pretty well and doesn't let me get away with stuff.....uncomfortable sometimes but all good and I appreciate it.

YAY! I loved seeing that you posted.
I also have a T that knows me VERY well. I can't get away with anything. Sometimes, like a child, it frustrates me, but as others have said, it's actually SO good for me to have someone who knows enough to be able to call me on my crap!!! I need that. It just demonstrates how much your T cares about you.
