Ok, so my issues are still very much in the present and I'm going to be dealing with them for a while, but...

A support person was reviewing the events in my childhood that led up to the current situation, so I could outline them for my T next week, and it finally dawned on me that I was just a little kid then. The thing I felt most guilty about started in elementary school! There's NO WAY that crud could have been MY fault, no matter how matter how many arguments I can come up with to the contrary! I was NOT the adult making the decisions back then!

OMG!!! I am SO looking forward to the appt with my T on Friday! I want to surprise him by just going in and sitting down with a big ol' grin on my face!

wonderful breakthrough! of COURSE it wasn't your fault, you were a little kid, and not to blame for what others older and more responsible (adults I'm guessing) than you did.

I am so happy to be hearing this.
I deal with the same issue and hearing that you can actually believe it to be true gives me a great hope.
Thank you so much for posting this.
Now I will go to sleep to keep this hope longer with me.
Again thank you, cant even explain how I have needed this right now.

Amazing- such a different emotional place than I was in Monday, even though I'm still facing the same situation! ("Most painful day ever")

You are doing great! You are right! No child is at fault for what is done against them. Period. What you see now is TRUTH. Amazing to taste :-)
