Whew Intense session with T @ one point she asked me if I wanted talk about details of a past situation, and I was pretty reactive.
She then responded "I want you to feel safe. I'm not trying to scare you off I'm just doing my job. I could let you just be with me for years and not push you but I don't want that kind of blood money". Wow. Never thought that could be so comforting, but it was.. |

Therapy is tough..I'm glad you have the T you do...sometimes they know exactly what we need to hear

Yep, it WAS a good response, and I couldn't help but think of the. "T is just doing a job" threads on PC. For someone who is engaged and ethical, that can be a GOOD thing. We Pow, I did talk a little about the situation- I let T know one of my worries is that I would pull out hard stuff just to have to get everything together in 20 min, and she understood it's where we will need to go soon. I did end up giving her important info about the week before.
