Wow, thanks everybody, for sharing your experiences. It is great to log on and see all your posts. I loved reading them all. You make me feel normal, because we all feel just about the same.

I only have the internet on my phone for now, so it's hard to respond to all of your sweet posts on this tiny screen, and I can't do multiple quotes from my phone. Booo!

I love my T, as I'm sure you can tell. I wish that every hurting person who doesn't have anyone or a an amazing T like I do could just have a few minutes with her because she's really amazing. Maybe I'll take that back; I don't like to share my T. LOL! I tell her she's amazing all the time and I can tell she appreciates that I love and appreciate her.

Sunrise, the Relay for Life seemed like it went pretty well for the little while I was there. I was there to support my friend who is a breast cancer survivor. All I did was sit in her booth and act like my goobertastic self and made everyone laugh and ate fried catfish. Yum! She had bunches of luminaries that people had purchased as donations and they stretched around the whole football field.

SarahMichelle, I did do my drive-by. It made me feel great and connected. I love that your therapist plays piano and made you a CD. That is amazing and I'm sure it is a comfort for you. I do have the sweetest voicemails from her on my phone that I told her I saved and listen to when I need a T fix. One of the voicemails is when she called to check on me when I had gone to the doctor. It was so sweet. I was asleep when she called and I love that she left me that message. She thinks it's great that hearing her voice helps me when I need her. I don't like calling between sessions, although she encourages me to call when I need her. I've maybe called her three times between sessions and I apologized. You should have seen her face when I apologized. She wants me to stop saying "I'm sorry," especially when I need her and ask for help.

Thanks again for sharing your stories with me. :-)
Thanks for this!

I'm glad you did the drive by. And I am so glad you have voice mails from your T to listen to! I think that hearing someone's voice when you're lonely & hurting, or missing someone makes SUCH a difference.
