I was supposed to see T on Wed this week (he won't be there on my normal day, Thursday) but my week kind of fell apart schedule-wise, and now I'm seeing him TODAY.

It feels weird because it will be SO long between sessions - after today, I won't see him until next Thursday. And because I don't feel "ready"....I didn't know until a few minutes ago that I was seeing him today.

I'm sure it will all be fine. Just felt so I came here

today will be OK. Maybe he will have a suggestion about the long space after that. Changes are hard aren't they ?

Maybe this short notice visit will prove to be very effective since you didn't have time to plan? And while 9 days between appointments IS a really long time, I know you can make it, as you've made it longer before. Plus, we're here for you in the interim!

It will be okay. One time my T said that sometimes it is better if we can't plan what we are going to do in therapy, because then whatever comes up is the most important in the moment.

I hope you talk to T about the long period between sessions. Remember that we are all here to support you during that time.

It will be ok. I only see my therapist 3 times a month. Those two weeks off are HARD, but I make it.

Guess what? T called me this morning and had made a mistake, so now I am seeing him Wednesday at 4. lol

My schedule this week is ridiculous. Taking it one day at a time so I don't freak out.
Thanks for this!
