How do you cope with alone time? I don't know why it is, but weekends are so challenging for me. I feel so lost when I don't have things planned, and as it's a holiday weekend, the few friends I have aren't around, so I have no plans.
This weekend is harder than most because my T has been out of town this week, so I missed my appointments, which makes me feel even more lost. How do you deal with things when your T is gone? When you're nervous about that first session back?

Hope, I can't offer advice, but I can offer hugs and support as I am in the same boat with feeling so alone. I wish I had more.

I feel the exact same way on weekends! I always try and plan out things to do with friends so I don't feel this way, but it's inevitable that sometimes I won't have anything to do and will feel lost and just lie around thinking about myself, which I am doing now.
I feel SO incredibly lazy right now, and I hate it! I need some structure in my life to keep me busy and keep me from thinking about myself too much. So I do know how you are feeling; you're not the only one! ![]() |

I email T. I tell her my thoughts and how it feels. She really appreciates it because I find it so hard to talk about those feelings and when I write, it helps her to better understand me.
If you can't email T- can you at least sit down and type out how you're feelings and give it to T in your next session? I'll bet T would appreciate seeing into your heart. |
