I feel sh---y, abandoned, rejected and pathetic. She blames me for being too dependent on her. I'm not sure how I am coping...

The T/client relationship is such an intense relationship...and to be talked to this way and to struggle with the integrity of the relationship would elicit such powerful, painful feelings...This is the one relationship that is meant to help you, and instead, it's causing you more pain. I'm sorry you're dealing with this and I hope you find the strength to make some difficult decisions to lead you to better health. (( HUGS ))
Thank you MUE.

Wouldn't it be great if we could only take our assertive adult rational selves with us to T and not get bogged down with all that other stuff that goes on in our heads.

Good luck cats. SD
Thanks SoupDragon.

I know I haven't posted much but I read all of your threads. I am thinking of you and I hope your T can justify the way she talked to you when you called about your mother. I feel SO bad for you. I'm sorry about your Mom and I hope she can be treated successfully. I understand how hard it would be to break away from your T, but she is treating you cruelly. You deserve much better.
Thanks for this!
