I got a new job and between her schedule and my new schedule I will go 3 weeks between session. I am really stressed with the new job and today I made a big mistake, oversight sort of thing and I am really missing T. After I made the mistake I tried to imagine T walking me through it, But I ended up in a panic attack anyways. I took a half of ativan and made it through the rest of the day.

Worst part is when I scheduled with T she said she was concerned about going 3 weeks out, But I spoke right up and said It's ok! Partly because I don't want to get to close(to T) and partly because we were at the main computer near the waiting room(full of people). UGH it was not ok and I should have said so.

!4 days and counting until T

Maggy Jo

I'm sorry you're having a hard time! My t is going to be out for a week at the end of the month and already I'm panicking and anticipating some serious fallout on my part. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself but ugh, it's hard.
Thanks for this!

I so understand, maggyjo. The time does eventually pass. And you will survive. I know because I did.

I feel for you too, maggyjo. It's not easy. As skysblue says though, you will survive. Do you have any encouraging emails she sent you in the past that you could re-read? I use to do that in long gaps and it used to help. Failing that, write a pretend letter or email to yourself imagining it's from your T. Put in all the supportive things you know she'd say as though she is writing them to you now.
Take care.
