So I get a call from T's office a little while ago and I let it go to VM because I was thinking it was the reminder call. Then I realized the appointment is two days away and something must be wrong. T scheduled me at a time she has a doctor's appointment of her own (why, IDK). The receptionist mentioned earlier Wednesday (which I can't do it's my first day back at work in a week) or Thursday. I just sent T an email asking if she could do today or tomorrow and called the receptionist back and left her a message. I can't believe I'm freaking out about this!! T is probably in session and the receptionist will call me back before T emails me. AAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!

Freaking out how, Chopin? Eventually it will get straightened out and be as soon as possible? Is it the uncertainty of when it will be or are you worried it won't happen at all? When I have a "mess" surrounding what is going to happen during a given week, I either look/imagine the actual appointment and what I want it to go like or after it, how I anticipate feeling then. Picturing things as ongoing, (if you see your T weekly, think about next Wednesday, the 21st and how you will discuss this week :-)

Worried it won't happen at all. I'm at a pivotal point in the process right now and I don't want to miss a week. I'll probably see her Thursday; I just didn't want to have to take off more work to see her. I have a kidney stone that hasn't passed and if it doesn't pass by next Tuesday, I'll miss even more work for outpatient surgery. Yikes! Thanks for your support Perna

You ought to hear any minute now, right? I can hear how important the timing is for you, Chopin. Really hope this gets fixed fast!

Thanks RR

It's triggering my abandonment issues too. The receptionist was trying to blame it on the other receptionist; the funny thing is, I actually set it up with T herself!

Hopefully I'll hear soon; it's the time between the two receptionists (one for am, one for pm). I hope to hear from T, but she's sketchy with email.

She double booked me once before when she did the scheduling herself, but it was with another client, not herself...lol! Hopefully, I'll look back and laugh... double hopefully, she'll tack on a session at the end of today or tomorrow like she did last time!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I forgot she doesn't work Mondays and the receptionist called me back. She said T called her and asked "why did you guys schedule Chopin on the afternoon I have my doctor's appointment?" I told the receptionist T did it herself which made her lol. She said, "we have to give T lots of grace around here".

So I'm on for Thursday at 4 pm. While I was writing this I heard from T: "I don't have my calendar w me not working today. May have had a cancellation on tues."

No dear T, no you don't have a cancellation. And why the f**k would you say you don't have your calendar when the receptionist said you're the one who called in the first place about the appt. I'm calling her on it...sending an email back to say it was her fault. Don't lie to me T...you're treading dangerous ground with me if you lie.
