I love this forum because I feel like the things I obsess about are so NORMAL! Whether my T is stopping to think about things before he says them and what does that mean, does he think I'm weak? And whether it's okay to call and OMG, WHAT do I say when I call??

I love you guys! What do you guys love about this forum? [Stopdog, and pbutton, feel free to substitute "What I somewhat like, but really isn't that important and I could totally take it or leave it, about this forum. ]
Thanks for this!

Yes, that's a cute tease of stopdog and pbutton.

It is very comforting to know that other people have the same thoughts. What I like too is all the different stories and how one can carry them around and make their authors into pocket riders. I had a friend on these forums 15 years ago who was into overdosing with Tylenol and we were talking about it and I suggested when she got the urge, she OD on grapes instead and we were talking and laughing about what it is like when you eat too many grapes and forever after now, when I go grocery shopping I smile when I see the grapes and think of her and how brave she was and how much I enjoyed talking to her, etc.

this is a stitch !!!!

It puzzles me to hear, even if rarely, that a T might not look favorably on someone's posting on PC. If great self-absorption is an unhealthy sign, then great compassion and sharing is a healthy sign, yes?

and here we find peole whose posts range from to to and victories too

and it all comes down to
Thanks for this!

I would say because people here make me feel accepted no matter what my feelings, thoughts and mood are... I guess it's a synonym for making me feel normal too

And I would add that it's a way for me to feel useful a bit...
Thanks for this!

Haha, too funny! (((stopdog and pbutton)))

I love the good natured humour, for a start! I love this little supportive community and that we can share things here and be understood - things that we couldn't share anywhere else. Therapy is such a mind**** sometimes, and it's so good to know I'm not on my own with it between sessions anymore
Thanks for this!

For me, it's nice to know that I am not alone on my journey to healing!

I love this forum because therapy is a huge piece of my life that I never talk about. And it's comforting to see that other people need to talk about it too.

I love this forum because its one of the only places I can go to talk about therapy. All of you on here are so supportive and it helps so much to hear other people's perspective on things. Hearing about your jouney's inspires me to continue my own.

I love this forum because it is my one big vice that no one knows about. I have come to care about many of the posters, and I find myself online here instead of doing some of my life's real tasks!

I love this forum because I can read how other people are feeling and totally "get it." It's cool to be able to come on here and say, "Yeah, I've been through that too!" and not feel like last year's fruitcake.
Thanks for this!

I love this forum because my Cinderella's glass slipper is, if I could just meet someone where we didn't both think the other person was an idiot after 15 minutes, I would marry him or her (getting less fussy in my old age). Usually I don't get anywhere NEAR that fifteen minutes, right, it's the first 2 or 3, and you're like, NEXT! But this place is just stuffed wall to wall with people who I STILL like talking to or hearing from or whatever it is you call what we do - who still surprise me and delight me and educate me and interest me and just make me happy to share their life with them every day, even when we're sad. There probably is some kind of unconscious self-screening process going on - whatever it is, I like it, I like us, I like me, is the end result.

I am sooooo addicted to this forum! It's nice to know my feelings are not alone and others that are further in their journey and I read, and others who are starting, I can offer my opinion

I TRUELY feel like part of a community and I like how I know some and getting to know more people so it doesn't feel like complete strangers! It feels like friends!

And Idk if this is sad or great, but I've gotten more support here than at home! So yeah, I love it here.

I find this forum reasonably adequate because I do not dislike reading about how others do therapy and sometimes there are people on here who can relate to my hurdles with it.
