New here and not sure what I should write......I might start from the beginning and hope it makes sence.

Every T and pdoc that I've seen pretty much gives up on me after about 6 or 7 sessions, half the time I have on idea what is triggering me or why I'm experiencing these issues. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep in therapy without feeling like your wasting the T's time and effort?

Welcome!

I'll start with a hug.

Now I'll ask you a simple factual question.

How many Ts and Pdocs have you seen?

Hi ... welcome and sorry you are having such a hard time finding a T that will stay there with you. What is happening as far as them leaving ... maybe if you describe a bit about the pattern that takes place people will know how to respond better as in, are they recommending you go elsewhere; ending therapy somehow; or how does it end? one thing to remember is that no matter how much it can feel like (and I know i've felt it also) you aren't wasting their time; they are there to hopefully help you; or point you to someone who can.

welcome
Do you or will you see a new t/pdoc soon?
I would talk about exaclty what you wrote here... I would tell t that you want to stay in therapy longer than those 7-8 sessions you usually get and ask t what he thinks about it... some really good stuff could come out of this. Also, it would be great if you could talk about your feeling of wasting t times and effort.. but I suspect it could be long to feel differently... I say that because more than one year after the start of my therapy, I still feel like I steal my t's time and that I take other people that could benefit from it spot...

take care
