my therapy is about human interaction ... an app would totally defeat that purpose

One of my problems is ADHD and if there was an app that could help me learn to focus and concentrate better, then I would use it. I think such an app could be very helpful to me, and maybe it already exists. However, what I go to therapy for is more complex. Like processing grief over my father's death. Dealing with childhood trauma. That kind of thing. I don't think an app could help me with that. Don't most people go to therapy for complex issues like these? The idea behind the app seems to have very limited application.

I would prefer an app, to be honest, lol. At least if it was a computer-based thing, I wouldn't get angry at it all the time! I would be able to actually understand what it's talking about ALL the time! AND it wouldn't give up on me either.

There are lots of people who can't afford therapy, and lots who can't stick with it.
I welcome anything that could bring the benefits of therapy to the masses.
