Gonna go see my T tomorrow and talk about the email I wrote her about being parentified by my mom. I'm scared of the feelings that might come up--grief especially. I've got anxiety tummy. I'd like the results of therapy w/o the pain, please.

I want a tee-shirt that says that.

I hope it goes well, snuffle. Keep us updated.

Try to keep in mind that it's often our thoughts that cause us more anxiety/worry than the actual event. You have a good, caring T. It will be ok.
Thanks for this!

I know she's a good, caring T. That's the problem. If she was prickly and hostile like my last one, I wouldn't have to go through this because I wouldn't feel safe enough for those feelings to come up with her. This is the first time I've missed my exT. I am a twisted little puppy.

If it makes you feel any better, I sent a rude , sarcastic, wierd, mean email to my T when I didnt really mean to but sent it anyway..and I know she will reply eventually and that I have to see her.
So, you're not alone! Its scary, it makes your heart sink...it feels like "UGH OH NO"

but you will get through it, and hopefully so will I.

T's care, T's are there to help

Not fun grief filled session as predicted. But I did what I gotta do to try to begin getting past this mom stuff. These are the toughest parental forgiveness emotions I've felt yet.

I'm feeling nostalgic for stagnation.
