I am 5'4" tall. Not sure if that is really short for a woman, though. Always been a blonde. Even though now I pay for it! I tried to go with a light brown a few years ago. It just did not fit my personality at all.

I am not sure how old you are, but I bet I am older. Just turned 50 in March. Funny how my students tried to guess my age. They said everything from 25 to 80! These are 3rd graders. I was a litte suprised that they had no concept of age unless you are 8, 9, or, 10 years old!

I must say, we are a great-looking group of people!

This caught my attention because I just got told by two people today that I look intimidating. One of my gays asked me to go with him into a situation that he's afraid of because he said people are scared of me. He called it a "gift." Then he said, "Don't talk. You're scarier when you just stand there and glower." Apparently, somehow I became "the muscle" which I am so not.

I've also had another gay male friend tell me that he feels much braver when he has his big butch girlfriend by his side. It's so weird to feel perceived as this scary protector. This is not what I'm going for. I'm actually a delicate flower.

Gasp! I use this exact same description about myself! O'course, the venus flytrap is also a delicate flower! And I read a psychogeometrics website, I think i'm a squiggle-box, both flighty AND organized. I ordered a book, looks interesting!

Nope. I let you see my dog. That is as dog as it gets. Trust me, the dog is much cuter. I do not have a single photo of me where I don't think I look grossly obese or really old, or just ugly.

I think we often see ourselves so differently than others do. We can be very harsh and critical. That's why we (I) don't have any full length mirrors. Even if I did, not sure all of me would fit in that skinny mirror! If it weren't for being a teacher and having the yearly photo made (for the yearbook), I don't think I would have many pics either. The one I showed on here was at my daughter's wedding. If not for that, I wouldn't have had one to share.
