Hovering on the edge of a major panic attack at the moment trying not to let it suck me in. My mind is running everywhere with a mix of focusing on what I'm trying not to focus on and with all kinds of different questions. Waiting on some medical test results; and then have more tests next week and more results to wait on and it's all for serious stuff so I keep being scared and nervous. T says keeping myself busy is the answer and not thinking about what may or may not be and I know that makes sense but it's so hard not to worry. Not sure why I'm writing/?? maybe for company ...

Ugh I hate playing the waiting game, especially with medical stuff. I just finished the long process of injuring my knee last June to finally have surgery 3 weeks ago. I can relate to what your going through. Your T is correct that distracting yourself is the best thing. Everytime I caught myself thinking up possibilities, I stopped myself and asked myself how does the worrying help and/or change anything, not suprisingly it doesn't, this often helped me refocus my energy.

Keep us informed. Waiting for test results is so nerve racking. Try to get out of the house and stay busy. Otherwise it's like waiting for water to boil (never happens while your watching).

I'm still in a decent amount of pain and I gotta wait another 6 months before I'm allowed to resume sports - so more waiting lol. I try to stay positive that it's all gonna be worth it but somedays are harder than others. Hopefully the waiting isn't too long for you, do you at least have a date when you will get some answers? If you need ideas on distractions let me know.
