if it's any comfort, they say sex in a dream is usually not about sex, it represents something else. or the person does. it's not a one to one interpretation, like a pick-up line, "hey, I had a dream about you last night!" - plus when does THAT ever work, right? RIGHT???

I second Hankster. While sometimes a sex dream is just a sex dream (I'm pretty sure that's why Uma Thurman keeps showing up in my dreams wearing that little leather... Um, nevermind) it is usually about something else- some other kind of connection that we want.
It can be freaky, I know. I've had some erotic dreams about people who I would never, in a million years, even want to see nekkid (bosses, doctors, professors). But I usually want something from them; some kind of intimacy. I know your t would not take it the wrong way and discussing it with him would probably be educational. If you really can't talk to him, just rest assured that you are perfectly normal about this. |

I occasionally have an erotic dream about my t.....and i IS because I am attracted to him. My t sez a dream is either: "Something you want to happen or NOT to happen"

Well... isn't that EVERY possibility? I mean... everything must fall into one of those two categories...

In any event, the dude needs to stay the F out of my dreams! ICK! Now I am going to be thinking about this when I see him and I will probably start blushing or something. I don't mind the occasional erotic dream, as long as it sticks to Antonio Banderas or Sherman Moore!

Is it possible that the dream represents a desire to be closer to your therapist (not sexually), but in a personal rather than professional way?
And on a side note I love the rare occasions when I have dreams about my therapist, well never had one about her, just had a few with her in them, never any sexual component to those dreams but I clearly wouldn't mind if there would have been.

Nothing like a good (or bad, as it were) sex dream to throw off a perfectly good Monday!
I've never had a sex dream about my T, but certainly have about some people I wouldn't ever want to even consider sexually IRL. Then there are the good ones, too. And now Jon Stewart is back on my mind. |

That would make sense because I have been taking steps to rely on him more and let him in.

Dreams are funny. I find that when I do dream about my therapist (which is not often at all), it is rarely, in truth, really her. In the most disturbing dream I had that involved her, she was actually functioning as a sort of shadow-self for me.
The converse has been true as well. Once I had a dream about an animal that was leading me through the woods. I could never quite see the animal — only its dim silhouette through the trees — but just enough to be able to follow it deeper and deeper into strange landscapes. This mystery animal, I realized upon waking, was my therapist. Sex may not be sex, your therapist may not be your therapist. Any thoughts? |

In the dream we were in the office, and he was clothed but I wasn't. Sounds ridiculous, but we were in the act.

Just like therapy, you are vulnerable and he seems like he isn't (naked vs. clothed). The act could represent letting yourself be vulnerable to him, letting him past your guard?

If you are trying to let your T in, then you're making yourself vulnerable, and this is what your unconscious is feeling and showing you in the dream. Maybe? |

I don't know. I dreamed that I killed someone once. I had a lot of pent up rage towards them. I would never hurt a fly in real life.

I can see I might interpret it that way too. I don't really think dreams mean much of anything, although dreams and nightmares can be distressing to me.
I hope it does not happen again for you. |
