My T told me 2 weeks ago or so he's moving out of state at the end of April. I was crushed. I told my pdoc about it today, and he said it sounded like I was handling it well. I said "Maybe, but I cried for an entire weekend first."

It's so hard. I wish you the best.

Thanks KimmyDawn...Yes, I thought of you, as I know yours is moving away soon as well, and again, I'm so sorry about that. Mine will be moving away June 1st. I've been seeing him for three years. Yes, I don't have good words to express things. We were both crying today. :-( This is going to be hard.

Oh dear, I'm sorry you got bad news so recently two. Sounds like your T gave you about 2 months' notice, as mine just did. I can imagine you cried for a whole weekend! It's very hard news. I'm so sorry, Candybear.

Actually not only does it feel like this....but this was the weather here today...and I had to walk miles in it....just added to the unfortunate circumstances of the day/week somehow. sigh.

April will make 2.5 years for my T and me. It's so hard to find someone you trust in the first place, and then to get so close just to have them pulled out from under you ..... well, it just sucks. No two ways about it.

Sounds like you had a long working relationship with your T too - it's hard to lose a T under any circumstance, I suspect, but I would think it's even harder when you've developed a long working relationship. It will be a little over 3 years by the time my counselor moves away. sigh

I am so stunned at this news and know you have NOT had time to really process this I am so mad at your T ...Youre so sweet and do not deserve this We are here but um I don't have any words cause its been my life for a long time now.....but this sucks
