Feeling a little odd/uncomfortable that I just sent this to my old T (T 1)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi T 1,
Sending a note to say hi. The semester is now over and I completed the Nutrition course with a 95 average. I’ll be sending you a copy of my paper to read after I make a few changes based on my professors recommendation – just thought it may interest you as it relates to children’s behavior and diet.

I’ve been to now 4 or 5 sessions with T 2 and while I was very skeptical in the beginning (some of it I think was adjusting to a new therapist – I do miss you), things have turned for the better as scary as it feels. I feel T 1 has some value to helping me move forward and understand things more clearly.

- Geez

PS Here’s a link to an article I found online that talks about stress and weight loss etc… http://takingcharge.csh.umn.edu/expl...indful-matters
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

It seems pretty normal that you would want to touch base with old T...you did really good closure and you were really attached. I don't see any problem with that. I think it's awesome that you still feel that connection even after you've moved on. The only thing is that I *think* (if I remember correctly) she wasn't very good at returning calls etc???? Just be aware that no response doesn't mean she didn't like your paper.

She was great at returning calls just not great at returning emails :-) If I hear from her it will most likely be a one liner in email form. I know she cares it's just slightly annoying that she's short in emials but I get it that she has an active practice plus she is a college professor.

I understand the odd/uncomfortable feelings, though I definitely don't think you did anything odd by sending the email. It read as a sweet update on your life and a desire to share some helpful things with your old T.
Thanks for this!

I like the update you sent her and hope you do hear something back from her, that's really encouraging with your results and how well you are doing with new T. I really appreciate the link you shared as well

Update: No word from old T. She probably didn't get my email. I did email marriage T and she was glad to hear from me.

Update: Heard back from old T and she's happy but not surprised how well I did in school :-)

Glad to hear things are going well with new T, thanked me for the article and wished me a Happy Mothers Day.
Thanks for this!
