I hate seeing pictures of myself that show more than my face (which is OK, as faces go.) And I no longer like to wear shorts. In Sweden, shorts season is obviously, er, shorter than in Florida for instance - but on the other hand, in May to August you're seen as pretty freakish if you don't peel off as much as possible and expose yourself to the fresh air and sun. I shall just have to be seen as freakish.
Ha. Yes, capris...do they wear cropped pants in Sweden? Here in the States (I am in the northeast) it is hot from July thru Sept usually. I live in a resort community, so I look extra freakish in my jeans and long sleeved tops. I do bare my feet (I get regular pedicures), and I actually think they are quite pretty. Figures, the only pretty I have is on the bottom...lol.

Yes, trousers come in all lengths, including the cropped variety - it was just the term I was unfamiliar with.

I believe I shall have to get a broad-brimmed hat and a pair of sunglasses for this summer, btw. Not because of any psychological issues, but because I'm on medication for a benign skin condition, and that makes my skin extra sensitive to the sun. I shall be International Apteryx of Mystery!

I like what you say about your feet. Taking care of one's feet is an important thing.

Love this tread! Thought I was the only " freakish" dressing in the summer time person. I have a very fair skin and get a rash and redish by looking at a sunny weather forecast I wear long skirts or jeans ( yikes ) in the summer with semi long sleaves. Feels horrible but it looks horrible revieling my almost neon white skin with red stripes and bums on it. I hate the summer and envy people who are able to get a tan! Please enjoy it if you can! I dress smart in fall and winter but in the summertime I look like well... someone who is hiding her body and mostly keep indoors
