I had to cancel due to lack of gas money so I called him. I told him I was scared and I would die if I lost him;I've lost so many people lately.....
I said but I am probably one of many that feel so strongly. He must feel the same for all his patients. He said "No...You are special".
What does that mean to you? I have cried all day.

what a wonderful thing for a T. to say! I'm crying because I'm not at all special. My T's don't even know me, how could they care about me?

It is scary to think of losing someone like that. I had that sort of relationship with my ex-T and I did lose him and it hurts like hell. Now I've got these new people who are so detached I hate it!

I dunno. Maybe just be glad you still have yours. Don't worry about what might happen in the future. Just be grateful for now.

I think it was his way of saying he doesn't see you as one of many, you are special and have a unique relationship with him and he appreciates that. You are lucky, Its a lovely thing for a T to say.

I shouldn't over think it and just be grateful for my T. It was an emotional day.

I think the people who post here are the most committed, the ones who try hardest. That makes us special.
