Sorry Soup, I didn't want to be left out!

I don't have a T anymore. Mine left (but I did love him and maybe that's why he left). I have a Backup T. who I just re-visited this past week to ask his advice about me seeking out a new T. (possibly him but probably not)

Thanks for this!

No, wait! I got it! This is the thread for people who've left their T's because they loved or hated them too much!

So I don't know if I can still qualify as being new to t (it's been 7 months now) but I'm squeezing in here because until I didn't have session this week I didn't realize that maybe I'm not as indifferent to t as I thought I was. I kinda liked being indifferent so I'm going to hide here

I want an "I fear my T" thread. I guess this one is it, though, since I fear him because I don't yet know him.

Can I join if I am in the process of finding a new T? Well, deciding if I want a new T or or if I will be taking a break from therapy. Sometimes I think I don't want more therapy. But then I do want it. But when I go look, I find a reason to shun every T that I look up.

I've had three T sessions so far. I jokingly referred to them (to T) as dates. Its really what they are, isnt it? You are screening someone to be an important part of your life.

@pbutton that's exactly where I am right now too! Part of me never wants to get that intimately involved with another human being again... the other part feels like it's possible that another therapist could help me work through these feelings and eventually maybe possibly feel better about it. I don't know which... sigh...
