Last Session :(

It's in a few weeks, I know she has to take a year out, but I won't get to see her when she comes back.

I'll really miss her, I love her (not in a gay way) but she is so awesome

How do I get over it?
I have to start seeing someone else, but I wish I could just wait a year and see my psychologist again.

Maybe you need to take some time to grieve first?

I decided that if I lost my T, I could never replace her. Instead, I would try someone completely different.

why can't you see her even in a year?

I don't really know why, my nurse just said I won't be seeing her again.

It sucks though I don't really want to see anyone else, at least I can talk about it with her.
If I do no one could replace her either though and I'd only keep comparing them.

That does suck right now. I hope a new psychologist will be another good fit for you.
Missing is hard, but it will mellow out with time.

I'm sorry you found a T you like and now you won't get to see her any more. I'd really be sad if that happened to me.

But if it did ... I'd ask him for a referral to another T. In a way it would be a kind of link to him, since it would be somebody that he picked out just for me, who he would think would be able to help me. And maybe once in a while I could ask that T "And how is Dr W doing these days? Do you ever see him?"

She can't really refer me either, it's just who ever is available at the Community Mental Health Team and they suck there.

She said I can email her when she gets back to let her know how things are, so that's something at least.
