T responded to my email about the iPad, not the question about boundaries. So now I know that it is just about the iPad. That actually makes me feel a lot better. I can talk about not dealing with personal stuff via email and other boundary issues next session.

Although I told her if she tried to download anything without running it by me first that H and I were going to bury her alive in a box. This is a joke between me and T. It comes from this...pretty funny:

So I was outside getting my grill set-up and the neighbor lady came out and said, "Don't you have a band concert tonight?" AHHHH! I completely forgot! And it's the big "German Night" concert so there's a bazillion people there.

Talk about OMG...T sprung it on me one day. I was talking about something and she responded by saying, "Stop it." I said, "What did you just say?" She said, "Stop it or I'll bury you alive in a box!" and doubled over laughing. I was like, "Um, that's not funny." She then told me it was a joke to go home and google that phrase and Bob Newhart.

When I played in public, there was no way I was ever going to forget it because I obsessed about it until it was over. I used to get so nervous before recitals, I would throw up. Stage fright sucks!!

Yeah. I play at 7. But if she hadn't said anything I would have never gone.

I used to get that. Now that I've played in the band for 15 years not so much. But yes, stage fright does suck.

H and I just spent 2.5 hours learning the rules to a board game we bought last week. Now we're too tired to play it. G'night, all.

Pizza has been halted. Maybe I will get a bite to eat at the concert.

Sconnie...yikes. H forgot a concert once and he had to pay a large fine. It was terrible.

Apt...that is awful but funny. We did the same thing with friends one night, by the time everyone understood the game no one wanted to play. Well, at least you know the rules for another night.

Granite...fresh herbs are awesome. I cut a bunch of lavender yesterday with my little niece and have it soaking in oil. Going to make some hand sanitizers and room sprays.

We had torrential rain this afternoon and I found water in my basement again. Apparently the gutter is pulling away from the house. Guess I have a project on a ladder Saturday.

I'm there with you, Lola. I am exhausted and so upset I don't know quite what to do with myself. My husband told the marriage counselor some stuff about me that I don't generally share with anyone, and that is not at all relevant (I don't think to the marriage counseling situation). I detest having people know stuff about me, particularly this thing. So, I'm frantic and depressed and somewhat self destructive.

I deal,with these things very well, I compartmentalize. I have always put my feeling In a box and filed them away. Right now in feel I am failing my family as,the "man" I am being weak and that is not acceptable. I was raised to be responsable for everyone, feelings, financially etc.

right now this doesnt seem to be working to well hun. i don't think you are failing anyone right now or ever.you are just having a hard time and believe it or not that is ok .don;t worry what others are up to or thinking.right now it needs to be what does lola need to get through the night an let tomorrow worry about itself
