How long have you been in therapy?

Where is the "forever" or "eternity" choice?

First T: 3 1/2 years, weekly
Second T: about 2 years, weekly
Third T: about 2 years, weekly
Fourth T: 5 years plus about 2 more, monthly or less often
Current T: 2 years, weekly

2 years with one T
1 year 2 months with another
3 months with another
And a combination of 2 years 7 months with current T (there was over a year break in there)

I've been working with therapists since I was in 5th/6th grade ~ around age 11 then?

So, that's 30 years. My T did say that I am likely to require therapy for the rest of my life. That's just the way it is for some people, and I'm one of them. I don't know what the stats are for treatment. I'll have to look into that.

I'm not exactly sure what the total is. My guess would be 12ish years out of the last 30 years of my life, not all at one sitting. The longest has been with my current T: 7 1/2 years more or less at this point but we're pretty much finished, thank goodness. I'm ready to be done with it I think.

14 years with same therapist, minus a 6-year break in the middle... So actively, a total of 8 years.
Usually 2-3 times a week.
