I miss my T. He's been gone on vacation for 2 weeks, and there is 2 weeks left.

He said I could email him while he is away to get my thoughts out, and I have 3 times. But the lack of response is a reminder that he isn't there.

I'm overwhelmed with things. I'm having a lot of family issues (with my Mother). I start college soon and am really stressed about it. My husband is really distant. But he's around at least.
I'm not sleeping right, I'm not eating right. I don't really have anyone to talk too. I feel alone.

Nothing much else to say.

Sorry you have to go through this extended absence with your T. I know how alone I feel when that happens. Maybe posting here will help you feel less alone? We're here for you. Sending safe hugs

4 weeks? Now this sucks. Sorry you have to go through it.
You can post here or maybe try and reach out to your H? I'm sure he could offer you some support.
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry, Sunne. I wish I could give any good advice but I can't. I think I can understand how you feel, though.
Thanks for this!

Im so sorry its so hard. I totally hear you. For weeks is such a long time! I hope it goes by really fast for you. Can you find things to do to keep you busy? My T has been gone for almost a year now, and sometimes it feels like time is must standing still. I try to read a LOT and ive taken up a new hobby to try to keep myself busy, i also joined a gym. Maybe you could take a craft class, or find a good book series, or go out with friends or something to help time pass a bit better?
Thanks for this!

SM - A year? Wow. When are they coming back? That must be really difficult.
We are going to a cottage this weekend coming up. So I'll have 4 days with my mind off things, which will really help.

Thanks everyone else for your support and hugs.

A bit off topic but need to write:

Something that isn't helping is my husband. He has picked up this habit of teasing me.
Tonight after dinner I felt sick and went to the bathroom and was being sick. I came out and he didn't even acknowledge my presence. I asked him to kill an earwig in the bathroom and he did. I got upset that he didn't ask if I was okay. Just seems like the right thing to do, no?
A huge argument ensued and he got mad at ME. Turned the whole thing around.

Anyways, we resolved it. I told him I'm tired of him teasing me. Just pointing out things I'm doing wrong a lot of the time. It's getting really tiring and I'm trying to fix my shattered self esteem in therapy. He just listened and didn't say anything.. then later kept doing it. Treating me like I'm stupid or like a child. He obviously has issues with me I just wish he would confront me on what's bothering him.

He is really passive-aggressive. It's kind of crazy making.

I'll need to tell T about this. Wish I could reach out right now to him.

Trying to focus on the cottage and all the things I need to do this week. Time to go lay next to my husband who won't acknowledge my presence.

I hope time flies by for you.

Just had a panic attack. Called the crisis line and they helped. I'm not doing good.

Keep sharing here. A lot of us can relate - I can certainly relate to the various joys of panic attacks.

Are you excited about school? I just finished summer semester and I'm enjoying the break. I do like my classes next semester, but I also like taking naps and playing on the computer.

Thanks pbutton.

I am excited about school. But also really nervous. I don't know how it's going to go, and am worried I'm not well enough yet. Considering pushing it back until Jan. But I don't know.

You have panic attacks? I never had a full blown one like today. They are rather.. frightening! Was a hot mess.

What are you taking in school?

I started school during some of the worst days of my panic disorder. I was also afraid that I couldn't do it. I vividly recall one day where I spent the WHOLE Sunday working on a simple assignment. I'd have a panic attack, ball up and cry in my computer chair, and then get back to work on the project. It was miserable, but also a good distraction. If I can do it, anyone can. It actually helped me feel a lot better about myself. Do you normally like school?

What are you taking in school? I'm working on a BS-Information Resource Studies. I plan on getting my Masters in Library Science next. I've been all over the place switching classes this week & can't remember which ones have "stuck". I'm actually waiting to hear back from my advisor, so everything is still subject to change.
Thanks for this!
