I had a hard time with that lesson. And you are actively getting the opposite lesson from different directions, like hubby and sis, mum, that we CAN'T rely on people. If I may add here for myself - only food. I had an ah-hah moment this morning.

EXACTLY, hankster. And my T has unfortunately chosen the last month to decide to stop reassuring me that I CAN call. He tells me that I KNOW his position on telephone calls. In my brain, however, him deciding to stop telling I can call means I am no longer allowed to call. 'Cause I'm all ****ed up like that. Seeing him Tuesday, though, made me realized that I spent a week and a half tormenting myself when I didn't need to. I just need to somehow remember that while I'm down in the pit of despair. That just happens to be the time when I'm least able to remember those kinds of things and actually summon the courage to reach out.

For me, it is animals and only sometimes food. A giant bag of Snickers will occasionally make me sick, but my dog never lets me down.

It's almost 10 and I haven't even showered yet. Still in my sweats from walking the dogs. I have been totally absorbed in an internet search. My mother called and said she would be here at noon...so out of a rough T session into a rough mother session. She has a showing at her home (which is on the market) and she has no where else to go. Ick. This day is sucking already.

Morning all,
My interenet was out at home this morning so I had to wait to get to work to pop in and say hi!
Good luck Artemis!
Wiki

Lots to get done today here. Probably won't be back to the couch until late this evening.

Help me. I'm stuck in this provider meeting and none of it pertains to my facility so far. I feel like one big fidget. I want to stand up and scream. I can't leave until it's over in case something is relevant. I'll just tell you; mental health reform SUCKS.

Chopin - you could always create more smiley face photos as you wait. hehehe.

I am having a very difficult time concentrating and getting anything done at work today. I am thinking about t alot and also about how to respond to the assignment our director gave me. I need to express that a good part of the problem is our office hag, but without coming across as the vindictive, whiny *****.

My office Hag is back today and in full effect, as she tried to throw me under the bus yesterday and I stuck up for myself. I'm thinking she wont be asking me to lunch anytime soon.... damn the luck, that's the best time to try and poison her...LOL
I can see how it would be hard to lay blame on her without coming off as hateful, but it is what it is.... one person who doesnt play nice with others can mess up your whole party. I think i may contact her boss and ask for training today, thats gonna go over REALLY well Goodluck!

Sorry Chopin...act like your listening but don't...let your mind wander.... toothpaste, milk, aqua velvet, fabio, hair, hairy, bigfoot...great now I'm scarred LOL

It would be my luck that she's on PC and would see it
She is pretty and socially can be wonderful. It's just her lack of work ethic and blatant laziness that is the problem.

Lola..that lady you describe is my ex-boss. It also describes one of our consultants, a daughter of Italian immigrants, who dyes her curly dark brown hair platinum blond and straightens it, and wears mini-dresses.

Named a rat after her?

How do I handle people like that? Let them "win" by make them feel wanted/needed/pretty/etc. If they know they are making you miserable, they feed on that, even if they are more insecure than you.
