Since this thread has reached 100 pages (over and over), it has to be started again in order to keep it going.

This can be a place to just drop by... ask a question, chat, find a friend, share your wisdom, etc. Although most people here are in therapy or have had therapy, there are lots of people who haven't. Everyone is welcome!

This is a space for healing and support. Grab a snack and stay awhile!

I like sectionals myself.

Had a half nutritious (banana) and half horrible (cookie) breakfast this morning.

Today would be my first session of the week, but T is away, and I am begrudgingly bothered by it. Had several dreams last night where we argued and ended therapy once she came back.

I might do something today like exercise or chores. Maybe I will get out of the house. idk

Ahhhhh... major t light bulb thanks to this Stephen King quote:

“The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them -- words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear.”

Of course now I have to leave for work.... I'll have to write more later. It's like a giant weight just lifted off me.

lol...well it's kind of a kiddie library! I picked it just to razz on apt and stopdog. I can't wait to see stopdog sitting on one of those foam shapes reading "Goodnight Moon".

My stepdaughter and her family left this morning. It is time to put the toys away and destroy the candy. I can't believe I slept most of the day yesterday, I have a feeling I might do the same today. I feel kind of guilty about it, but I am just so damn tired. I think those two weeks of head work really did me in.

I have to pick up my niece this afternoon too. I usually only have her on Wed., but the grandmother broke her leg and now I am the only caregiver for a while. She is in daycare every day until 3, and I adore having her, but it will be exhausting after a few weeks of this.

I am supposed to see T on Thurs. I will need lots of pocket riders for this one. I need to ask for a referral to a female T. I would prefer to find one on my own and never go back to him, but this is the plan I made at residential, and I really should stick to the plan.

Wiki-Sticking to the plan is a good thing. I'll be in your pocket on Thursday.

You should sleep all day. You were away then had to entertain. You need rest and relaxation and to just be with you to get all your thoughts together. Sleep. I would sing you a lullaby, but that will probably give you nightmares.
Thanks for this!

Goodnight moon is despised by me only slightly less than the insipid, treacly Velveteen Rabbit.
I shudder at the foam shapes. And the round tables where children have stickified and gooeyed goodness knows what all over them.
I suppose you all envision us enjoying our port out of sippy cups? With pipes that blow soap bubbles?

Aurrgh - not foamy cushions in the library and cuddling on the couch.
I am going to need a big sippy cup of something stronger than port.

TTGB - yea.
Wikid - you do not really have to stick to plan if you do not want to see him again and do not think there is a real benefit to you in doing so. Just get the info on a new female therapist as best you can. I think having plans and following through can be useful in many situations, but rigid sticking with plans that are not going to work well is not a great thing for oneself either.

Sconnie, Hankster - top pf the morning to ya...

TTGB- yeah on the paid off vehicle...we paid off partners last month...that's a good feeling

Fix- Sorry no T this week...people on the boards usually say to still take that time and do something nice for yourself, we are here if you need us.

I owe I owe , so off to work I go...such is life... office hag is MIA for 2 days

Morning all!

At work (at least I'm earlier than yesterday). Working on credentialing again. It will be my life until it's done. Watching boss crunch #'s in spreadsheets. He just said he was going to lunch, then went back to his #'s.

Everyone have a great day!

I think I got really connected to you guys. A tell tale sign is when I was in the supermarket. I passed by some vegan food and Wiki came to mind. I passed by the frozen section and saw like 20 tubs of coolwhip and giggled thinking of Chopin. Then I passed by meats and saw chickens and automatically said "Yard Bird" and thought of Lola. LOL.

My partner knows about all of you..... am I wrong? Is this healthy?

NOW I have a subject for T.

I equate various things with various peeps on here. If im on during work, your part of my "end of day" report to the wife.

Wife: How was work?
ME: Boring... the board was active though, TTGB is looking for a new family, Wiki's Back.... Stopdog reminded me of me of Sheldon today, I wonder what APT looks like. I sent a link to Hankster today, Told MKAC about that movie we saw..

My wife just nods and smiles... like your my imaginary friends Then she will message me on Facebook about being " tangible and in the house". I Do the same thing with T.

I may need an intervention
