I spent a weird evening with my extended family. At first, my younger sister (aka the lying thief) and her family were not there. They showed up later and that's when things turned weird. Just as we were leaving, my older sister's girlfriend showed up. Apparently her husband objected to that. My niece and nephew are not supposed to talk to me or show affection to me, so that was pretty horrible.

so i go out tonight with hubby to see a friends band and i went to b room and saw that i had the hugest mother of all zits on the tip of my nose .I'm never going out again it was so totally embarrassing.i just know everyone was talking to my zit lol

god i'm sorry .you are stronger then me i think i would have broke down and left i wont go to any gatherings any more not that i ever get invited.i cant believe they even involve the kids

Re-reading that, I realized it might not have made that much sense. There were two separate weird scenarios. This was my older sister's son's birthday party (N-1). He was turning 21. He sent me a series of really snotty emails about how all the family problems are my fault, etc.

My younger sister did not invite me to her son's b-day party (N-2). So I took my nephew's birthday present to the party with me and gave it to my mother to give to N-2.

My younger sister did not come to the party for N-1 because today is her birthday and she wanted to go out to dinner with her family. One of the nasty emails from N-1 was about how selfish I was that I did not attend some of his birthday parties over the years because I was competing my horse on a national level (we were fifth in nation one year in our sport) and my sister kept scheduling the parties when I was already committed to a competition. Anyway, he was actually nice to me without my younger sister there.

Then my younger sister arrived and my mom starts saying, "N-2, come here. Look what grandma has for you!" and goes to give him the present I got him as if she got it for him. My older sister stepped in clarified it was from him and then my younger sister glared at him so he was afraid to take it. When she was not looking, he hugged me though. and my older sister promised to tell him that the only reason I wasn't at his party was because I wasn't invited. She says she will tell him that it isn't that I don't love him.

The other weird scenario was that my older sister has left her husband, apparently for another woman. So the party was at my sister and her husband's house, but then my sister's girlfriend showed up also.

Everyone knows, no kids after 9.... lol

MKAC I agree your younger sister bringing her children into it is ******** and you should call her out on that one. It is not good for children to be put in those situations, those are adult problems and no child should be exposed to that. Your their aunt, blood and they need to love freely like children do, they will learn about the cruel world soon enough. Sorry about the older sister too, I could see where a g/f and xhusband meet up can be weird, as I lived that...birthdays were great for the girls... awkward for adults but we acted as adults for the kids sake.

but i dont want to put on my big girl pants. i'm in a bratty mood and want to scream balls and boobs. i want to hasve cocktails with little umbrellas.and lampshades on mt hubbys head because it would be funnier then on mine.that would just be humiliating.

Yeah, my brother in law is a jerk anyway. He was an a s s about it. Everyone else just kind of left. I asked my sis if she wanted me to stay and she told me to go ahead and leave because she knew how uncomfortable I was with my younger sister there.

She is your younger sister, why dint you tell her to get bent. For some reason, I still talk to my sisters (all younger) just like i did as we were growing up... I'm older so your gonna listen...lol
