rainbow_rose, that's a perfect video for those kinds of feelings. You always find such appropriate icons and videos! I'm thinking one of those penguins is my T because I'm still angry! But not SO angry anymore. Where did you find that video?
Thanks for this!

chopin, I'm terrified of mosquitoes because of West Nile! I think I got a bite a few nights ago, which is my first mosquito bite in years!!! Sorry you got so many bites. I'm glad you're in a place with beautiful scenery. I'm jealous!!

granite, the beach is my safe place. I love it!!! I waded into the water a little bit. Usually I go after therapy but it's funny the way I ended up there. Totally by accident. I had a drs. appointment and had to make a right turn out of the parking lot afterwards. I knew I had to go the other way, but I kept going for a few blocks! I had about half an hour before my appointment, and I knew it wasn't so far away, like maybe 15 minutes or less.

I got to this street I wasn't expecting, and lo and behold, there was the beach! I thought it was further away! So, I found a parking space, jumped out of my car, and went running down to the water, like a kid! Took off my socks and shoes, and went in. There were a few people around, not many. All summer I wanted to go but didn't want to pay the fees. Now it's free, but soon it will be too cold! There were some seagulls around but I didn't have my camera and my phone doesn't have one. The water was warmish, and the waves were moderate. I was in a good mood which kept up until after I told T about it, and started getting angry again.

oops, I know I write too much in this forum. Sorry. I'll try to be briefer. I got carried away by the waves!!!!

MKAC - that's a lot for anyone to take. I always try to think of after effects before I do anything. How will you feel after the party if you don't go? Guilt? Shame? Regret? If you go? angry? hurt? confused? Can you support your sister? Are you strong enough to do that, or will you be putting yourself in danger?

Pinkshadow...welcome! Are you in HS or college?
College.

But sometimes weekends can include fun stuff.
We set aside weekend mornings for making love.

If you think a post is boring and pointless it's perfectly fine to ignore it. When you reply by quoting the post and ostentatiously changing the subject you actually hurt me a little. I don't think you meant that.

I'm sorry I hurt you.

I didn't think I was changing the subject.

Morning all. I've actually been up for quite a while because I couldn't sleep. But today will be a better day, right? I will NOT look at today as just on one day to try to get through without screwing up.

Apt, perfectly legit not to like weekends when you associate them with stress. I wish they were better for you. Can you try planning something fun, just for you, and skip some of the other stuff?

Good morning to everyone.

MKAC - Today will be a better day. I am hoping for the same.

Apt - I don't like weekends as well. Now it's because I work them, but even when I had them off I didn't care for them. I like having other days free. Weekends are too busy with too many people.

I hope everyone has a good day. I am off to work.

Good morning all.
I hope everyone's morning is going well.
Apt, I hope the weekend flies by for you. I have mixed emotions about weekends.

I finished painting the bathroom last night and now I have to seal the cabinet doors. (I have cabinets IN the shower area. It's an older house - built when people took baths instead.)

While I am painting I am thinking about how t changed my Dx last session. Initially she had anxiety with adjustment disorder, but now it's dysthymia. I suspected that all along, but some how seeing it in writing is difficult.

Did anyone else ever wonder why Mr. Rogers had a stoplight in his house?

The Romper Room lady never saw me, either. I'd stand in front of the TV, waving as hard as I could, but Miss Rita never said my name. Biatch.

Can I run something by you guys? There's something I've been needing to talk to T about for a few months, but I haven't been able to start the conversation. I have quite a lot of shame about it, so it's hard to tell him about. I came close yesterday, but just couldn't. I think I need help to get it out. Do you all think it would be a good idea to tell him I have something I need to talk to him about, but I need him to push me to do it? I was thinking about leaving him voicemail today so he would get it before my session on monday.
