Life, the universe and everything....lol

Just wonder sometimes if somehow I ended up in some Twilight Zone episode or something because I truly don't understand the way life is going. It's like a big cosmic joke or something.

what is your chosen kitty prison?
Kitty prison is really tough here. It involves sitting on the couch next to me so I can keep tabs on her.

HAHAHAHA! Yes! That even looks like Broadway kitty. And I wouldn't doubt she would do something like that. But she is the most cuddly warm kitty at night, so I can never stay mad at her.

Right now my solution for cravings is to drink a glass of water and wait ten minutes. Usually that takes care of it. If I still have the craving, I cave in and eat.

Thanks Sconnie, I'm an emotional eater, I know I am not hungry...I am just bored, lonely and awake. Im a serial night eater and I'm starting to gain weight back so I have got to stop the insanity, I'm gonna try the water thing.

So my cold is not as bad tonight as it has been and although I am feeling better physically I am starting to feel worse mentally. It's silly but when I was feeling so lousy and completely exhausted, my mind was quieter and calmer in a way. It was like everything was far away and it was so peaceful. Now that I am a little bit better all of that noise and turmoil is coming back into my brain. Ugh!!!!

Good evening all. I'm trying to catch up from the last few days, but I'm having trouble concentrating. I worked about 3 doubles in a row, and am exhausted. I hope everyone has been well.

Hey murray...sorry you have lots of "noise"...I've had that before too... always before a new memory came back or when I was working on something difficult with T... I found journaling helped with the "noise"... do you journal?
Thanks for this!

Thanks Readytostop. I do journal and email my T quite a bit to help me get some of it out to quiet things down in my head. Not sure what is causing it, my T said once that it's part of my anxiety. I don't know. Maybe it is that I am working on some stuff.
Boy was the peace nice, too bad I was feeling so lousy physically so I couldn't really enjoy it. lol

I wish I was old enough not to care.
