Yeah... getting kind of nervous about it. I have seen a Pdoc before but I didn't like her so I stopped going after three sessions. I finally got around to seeing a new one and now I am getting all worried about it. I really hope she is able to help me because I am getting so tired of all these issues of mine!

hi, i was so nervous myself when i had to go to the pdoc. have you thought about bringing a friend or family member with you? the first pdoc i went to didn't really take much time to listen to me and prescribed a med that didn't work for me. she refused to change the med when i told her about my side effects. i didn't feel like she was taking me very seriously. now i am seeing someone who cares about me and wants me to get better. it was very hard going into the appointment and not knowing what to expect. i wouldn't have been able to do it if i didn't have a very good friend supporting me. good luck to you. i hope it goes well!

Sending you big good wishes. It can be a challenge to let someone know what you need. Just try to be honest. Pretend you are just talking to your own reflection in a mirror if that helps. That is what I had to do! It helped a lot.

It went well! She seemed really nice and has offered to lower her fee for me because I am currently unemployed which is really good.
She increased my 100mg of Pristiq to 150mg which seems kind of high but I figure its worth a try... |
