When are you seeing your T? Countdown.....

I thought I would resurrect this thread, I haven't used it in quite some time.

So when are you seeing your T?

My T passed away from COVID in 2020. It was really hard for me because he was my therapist for 12 years. I am having a hard time finding a new one especially since my co-pay is $45. Plus I am on Building Restriction for two weeks so I can't go anywhere to find one

well, I have not been in therapy in about 5 years and have not seen a psychiatrist in 7. Things went ok as far as I can tell but as I am a hard person to like I'm not too sure how those in the mental health services might see things. I do try but alas I am not a good people's person or indeed with boundaries in general. I do sometimes think again about talk therapy but it's a costly business and I would need to start over again with a new T as my last one is no longer in that business. hopefully, it was not me that drove her to quit practising!!!

Thought I would resurrect this thread since I finally found a therapist! Mine died of COVID back in 2020 and I had him for nearly 12 years, and it was almost impossible to find someone to replace him. Plus, I moved out of state.

So, the countdown is one day and 6 hours. I see her Tuesday afternoon and she's great!

I saw mine last week. She messaged me again asking if I want another appointment. I said not just yet.

I don’t see a T anymore but it’s 6 months before I see my pdoc.

I am seeing my therapist in about 4 hours. Really looking forward to it.

I will be seeing my T in February. I started seeing her once a month.

Seeing my therapist in 6 days. Have some homework to do before I see her.

Really liking this CBT technique.

6 days - next Thursday.

In 5 days - Thursday. Really looking forward to it.

In a week.

In two days...Thursday at 4pm

We have a telehealth appointment in five days. Then T is having a heart surgery. Not sure when I will see her after that. Still haven’t met in person since Covid. She might meet back in the office next month. I hope so.

Was meant to be tonight but T cancelled last minute. I hope she's okay 🥺

Update: T has rescheduled for Saturday

Thursday, right after Valentine's Day, so it should be a good one. 4pm

Had to let go of my therapist. Found out she was "out of network" and it was going to cost me a fortune.

Have a new therapist that I am seeing next Tuesday the 20th. Let the countdown begin again!

Had such a hard time finding a therapist! So, my insurance didn't cover my other one, and then when I tried to get my own, my insurance STILL didn't cover them. I finally CALLED the insurance and asked THEM to get me a therapist because I was so tired of running around. Finally got lucky with MDLive they are covered by my insurance, and they have some really great telehealth therapists. I really wanted an in-person one, but that started to seem impossible.

But I found an actual MD - a psychologist with over 30 years' experience and specializes in addiction and self-esteem - I don't even know how I got lucky enough to get an appointment next Thursday, but I did!

My next session is on Monday, because she's going on holiday on Thursday.

We're on a bi-weekly schedule now. I saw him yesterday, so the next appt. is March 13.

Hopefully, never again.

In two days and I could really use him because I have been suffering. Thursday @ 10am.

Two weeks; actually I just saw him four hours and ten minutes ago.

Seeing my therapist in five days. We met earlier in the week last week, but I think we have a lot to discuss this week. Really thankful I have a therapist now.
