and it was really really good.

When he called and made the appointment, I promised myself that I would deal with the real issue - whatever that may be.

It wasn't my old therapist much at all, it was something much much older and worse.

Something I never effectively dealt with in my previous therapy actually.

So.. with all the courage I had, I went in and laid it out. Took a huge leap and just talked.

Worked out very well. I gained a lot from it. Oddly enough, I think he did to. Like I said - he's very very *there*.

Something I had never quite experienced before.

It's going to be such a long road yet, but I think things are going to different.

...and he didn't charge me for those two sessions.

Good for you! That you had the courage to just open up and that it seems like things are gonna work out!
And yay that he didn't charge for the two sessions!

Well, it went back to the whole "hey you're a man". His energy is so strong.

It took a whole lot for me, the way I was feeling, to voluntarily go in and allow myself to be in that energy.

My old therapist was so very mild.

I know the destructive power of that masculine energy very well.

I can't say that I have much experience with the positive, productive, and protective aspects of that energy.

I saw those attributes very clearly today. It kinda felt like the warmth of the sun actually.

It's a little early, but it may translate into "Why hello 50% of the planet, how are you? I'm ellie. It's been too long".

Your words struck me as warm and lovely too.

Working with my current male T has moved me forward in this, I realize. Thank you for raising this issue so well.
Thanks for this!

This was awesome to read Elliemay. Seriously, so courageous of you to go in there and just deal with what needed to be dealt with. And yay for your T being how you needed him to be.

Thank you so much for the update.

I do to! So far so good.

I am a believer in the adage "When the student is ready, the master will appear".

However, therapy is up and down. Next session may be a total washout, we'll see.

It's just the nature of it.
