As some of you have probably heard me whine, I have biweekly appointments. I'd probably benefit from weekly, T told me he's there & all I need to do is ask. Asking is definitely my problem. I have been struggling with this for months. I thought about asking last night. But we were already over on time. So I ended up having a panic attack and freaking out and telling him I needed to leave. Smooth.

I just called and asked for an appointment next week. OMG. I now have a session on Thursday.

I can't believe I did it. I am in shock. I bet in an hour I start freaking out that he'll now think I need him.

But for now I shall bask in my accomplishment.

I see you there, glowing. It is quite nice.

Being different is really quite scary at first. But all of you is still right there, and the earth hasn't tilted any further on its access. It will be okay.

Way to go, Pbutton! Very, very brave. And if the panicky feelings come, they'll go away, and you'll still have your huge accomplishment to enjoy.

Yay you!!!
Thanks for this!

The way you push yourself outside your comfort zone, and work at your therapy and at growing emotionally really inspires me, pbutton.

Awesome. Truly. I am full of awe. That is difficult for me to do as well. I have been known in the past, when asked when I wanted to be seen again in a week or two, to actually shut down and say that I have no opinion. Scared the hell out of me.

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Lauru - feel better. Here is how I would have responded:

Do you want to be seen again in a week or two?
