I found this website online called the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and it looked interesting. The are different chapters in each state in the US. There are also scheduled support groups that meet online. I'm trying an online support group tomorrow night. Any comments are appreciated. Has anyone participated in a online support group through the website I mentioned or been involved with the organization?

I know of DBSA and have considered going to some support group meetings, but they aren't terribly conveniently located so I've never followed through. You might take your question to the bipolar support forum. I suspect there will be people there who are more familiar with DBSA.

yes its pretty good, at least I have had good luck on that site, others I know did not find what they were looking for. just like anything it just goes to show that even support groups online are like real time ones...they dont fit everyone. each person must decide for their self if DBSA is good for them or not. just because I like it doesnt mean you will. just take your time and give it a try and see for yourself whether you like it or not.
