I don't like this like button. It is distracting. I think if they want to add a like feature, it should be in the same format as hugs and thanks.

Now that we have a 'like' button, can we get rid of the 'hugs' button, or at least substitute it for a good ol' 'punch in the arm' button? I hate hugs!

I don't like the "like" button! Annoying that the info about it shows up at the end of everypost. We already have a thanks button, I don't see why we need another one that's basically saying the same thing. Just one more thing for my screen reader to have to handle. So I hope after their test week with it on they take it off. Or, I guess someone's idea of having it in the same area as the thanks and hugs button would be ok.
And I just hope they don't have a "I don't like this" button like on youtube.

What if we had one in session . Like a buzzer on a game show...
Ding!!=Like!!
Ding Ding Ding Ding!! = Really really really Like!!

Really. Could be an ice-breaker of sorts.
I take it then, that it's a "no" to having a "Like" buzzer in therapy...

I do not like it, no I don't.

That is my last statement on the matter.

If you 'like' someone's comment, are you then obligated to like them at other times , as well? Should a 'like' given be understood that it is only for a predetermined interval of time, and expires after the agreed upon period has ended?

See it how you want to see it, stopdog. I definitely see it as complaining in my book. There are so many other things in the world that are horrible and disturbing to get worked up over, and I don't think a "like" button should be laden with so much deep-hearted angst.

I guess I'm just the kind of person who doesn't sweat small stuff like this. Then again, I don't make PC my "safe place", so stuff like this doesn't have the same effect on me as it does some others. I guess I don't understand the reasoning for getting so riled up about it.

I don't see it as everyone is all that riled up for real. And I was playing. As were some, many even, of the other posts on this thread.
