For those of you who have blocked memories, when you remember bits and pieces does it make your head hurt? In case that makes no sense, when I try to remember more of the memory and another piece comes up after a couple minutes, it is almost like my head hurts right at the moment when my brain releases it to my conciousness. Does that make sense? Just curious if this happens to others.

I am sure everyone experiences it differently.... for me leading up to remembering something is filled with dreams at night and racing thoughts during the day...

for me, I think my head hurts but not in a bumped my head kind of way but in a watched a video in fast forward kind of way and I've been thinking to much and I need my head to shut down and rest kind of way...

I've never dealt with repressed memories, so don't personally know. I'm sure it is different for everyone. Sounds painful though. I hope you have a good t to support you in this.

I don't think it was unrelated that the worst period of my life with migraines coincided with the time of processing memories.
Thanks for this!

Sometimes I get a headache. But normally once the memory's surface, I yawn. A feeling of wanting to sleep hits me.

Yes you´re not alone. My head and heart hurts, too. It´s good that you see/feel a connection, I think.

Yes, kind of. It feels like there's this painful sea in my head, and I'm grabbing at things floating around in it.
