Mine is an LMHC and she has a client-centered, humanistic approach. She is also interested in narrative therapy.

Mine is a GP psychotherapist, so she is a medical doctor with psychotherapy training. Although we have never actually talked about her style of therapy, it seems most congruent with client-centered therapy. I know that she also runs some DBT/mindfulness type groups, and so brings that knowledge into our meetings.
Whatever it is though, it works well for me! |

I see a relational psychoanalyst (who is also a psychiatrist). It's primarily focussed on the relationship and very interactive. He used to be into self psychology and brings that in from time to time.
