No room service and no maid service. Unmade beds are no big deal. I just don't want strangers in my room.

Do you think that a T and a client having too many people in common can end up a bad thing?
I have seen situations where it did not matter and then some where it became a disaster. (some of this is in the context of in the lesbian community, often people will flock to one or two known lesbian therapists) if people talk and compare notes it can be a problem, if the therapist does different things with each person (as is often and even rightfully the case) it can cause problems. The problems I have seen are not so much in terms of the therapist - but in terms of what people do outside of therapy (discuss it with each other a lot and make judgements, get their feelings hurt, criticize how the other works with the therapist or relates to the therapist).
It has not usually happened with me because I don't usually talk to anyone about therapy nor do I see a therapist who is known in the community. I have seen friends have extreme jealousy and hurt feelings though.

The one I see did also see someone I knew and we all three knew about it. It only was a problem once when the therapist told me I "should" help the other person professionally on a matter we all knew about. I set that straight pretty firmly and it never happened again. I did not really worry the woman was talking about my particular issues with the other client though and she never discussed the other client's therapy issues with me.

I be here. How's Houston? Do you not let the cleaning people in your hotel room, or just room service? The last is a question that inquiring minds(not just me) want to know.

You don't call them for food or you don't let them make up the bed? Why not?

Just checking in before bed. Long day here.
This afternoon we hosted a dance workshop and I ended up participating in the dancing. And no one was blinded by my mad dancing skills... and my mad dancing skills I mean looking like an elephant dancing to Mr. Roboto. But it was fun. Waaaaaay out of my comfort zone. Guess what I will be telling t on Thursday!
Hope everyone is doing well. It be bed time for me.

I don't unpack much. Just lazy, I suppose. But it makes it less likely I'll leave stuff behind.

I fell asleep at 9 and woke up at 11 feeling like I slept for 12 hours. I am wide awake, and slightly freaked out because all the lights in my bedroom have gone out. It is not a power outage. My clock, computer, and ceiling fan are still working.

Morning peeps.

I made it thru the weekend without killing my mother. WOOT. Thought I was going to need the assistance of couch attorneys for a while there.

Going to Boston this week for some stupid scans and stuff. Thinking about driving into Southie...maybe even visiting my father's grave. I am petrified of graveyards, and I haven't been to his grave since he died. But reading this book is making me homesick in a weird way. Not sure if it's a healthy visit, or psychological suicide. I just have the draw. I have a repetitive dream/nightmare about my dad's grave, had it last night. It's horrible. I wonder if actually going to the grave would stop the cycle of nightmares? Trying to be my own T.
