Has anyone gotten a letter from their insurance company stating that at a certain date, their T was no longer on your plan? I Just got a letter today saying that starting in August my T won't be on my plan anymore. I don't know what to do, but am very upset about it. I don't see my T until next tuesday.

Maybe your T will let you still come for the insurance rate? This REALLY bites that your T didn't tell you and you had to find out from the insurance company. That would make me really and

yeah that is basically how i feel. i was going through previous statements and it seems they do reviews or something every 6mos to see if they are staying on the plan. the last one went from Oct to Apr 19. On the 17th is when they mailed this letter stating at the end of Aug is when she would be off. Interesting that it isn't 6 months (scares me taht she did do this), but i am hoping it is an error i haven't seen her in 3 weeks so maybe she hasn't been able to tell me yet. i just left a VM bc i can't wait a week worrying. ugh.

Mine once faxed in a form but the fax didn't make it to the ins company. He was auto-dropped. He eventually got added back on. Hopefully it is a little paperwork hiccup like that.

Do you have out-of-network coverage on your insurance? My xT wasn't on my insurance, but I mailed in claims on my own and got reimbursed directly from the insurance company for the covered amount. Of course it's more expensive, but at the time I thought it was worth it and it was still affordable for me.
Thanks for this!

I'm glad your T got back to you quickly about the matter. INsurance can cause so much (unneeded, imo) stress.

So stressful!!

I pay out of pocket for group T...and my insurance caps my sessions for individual T so that half of the year I am paying out of pocket. My T lets me pay the insured rate - so instead of $150, I pay $73....but that's much higher than my copay of $25 + $40 for group T....It adds up quick and is a huge financial burden considering I am an unemployed single mom. But I can't imagine not being in T, so I keep myself in denial about the situation.

My insurance recently decided that they would no longer cover my T and I was a basket case. I figured that this would be the perfect reason for T to get rid of me (which is always a fear of mine). Luckily he offered me a reduced rate so we can continue to work together.
