At least once, he was talking and giving me that look and it almost felt like he was physically touching me. It was nice and then freaky.
Hmm...I don't really think my T has a different "look"/"stare." Too bad we can't all take snapshots of our Ts' looks and post them! Ha! That would be fun & interesting. I feel like my T does have a more harsh look that she gives me when she is being more challenging. I wouldn't say that it bothers me, but let's just say that it isn't my favorite look of my T.... I wonder if it's the same "look" she gives her kids that means, "Cut it out!" Hmmm.... I'm going to call her out on that next time and see what she says

Oh, mine definitely has a look that just shouts, "********!" when he thinks I am full of it. LOL. What he says out loud is, "Seriously?"
Thanks for this!

I got that look from my T yesterday. First time ever. It was right after I told him I was fine, had nothing to discuss, and I hadn't brought my therapy notebook with me.
Thanks for this!

I've only just recently been able to keep eye contact with my T (easy for me with other people, reeeaallly hard with her). So I haven't quite worked out if there is a "gaze of intimacy" or not in the way you guys are talking about it. Having said that there is definitely a look she gives me which makes me feel like she cares. That's a new feeling for me. It's nice.
