ive finally made my decsion about my t...... im gonna look into finding someone else... cause all the time that ive been going to my t ive heard nothing but storys.... about her family and other patients and stuff i dont want to hear about... she even was telling me about one of the other ts relationships...... i dont want to know that %#@&#!..... hows that gonna help me..... im gonna call around to place today and find someone new.. cause theres no sense in me going for counseling if im not being heard

I think it's very important that you have good rapport with a therapist. If you feel like she isn't hearing you and it isn't helping you, and she isn't taking those concerns seriously, then it very well may be a good time to find someone new.
People are all different, and therapists have different backgrounds & styles... you deserve to find one that you can really work with. |

Way to go!! standing up and doing what you feel is best for you is wonderful!
You should feel your therapist is there for YOU and only you.. it is YOUR session after all....

Way to go! I think I remember previous postings about your T gabbing about irrelevant subjects. I hope you find the right T for you. I mean your insurance and you are paying around a hundred bucks just to talk to this T.
