Thank you so much for all your answers!

To answer some of the questions asked: It is a bit troubling for me to get to her office, as I've just turned 18 and haven't got my license yet (I don't live in the US for the record, so no, NO STARBUCKS haha) She offered just to be nice I guess. I don't know if she has other clients that morning, but I guess she doesn't?! It's really sweet of her to offer, though! Very considerate!

However, I'm still not sure what I think of the idea... I, too, as some of you have mentioned, see myself cleaning and making everything perfect for her, so she won't think any less of me. My apartment is not messy or anything, but I'd definitely feel the need for everything to be completely perfect!

I think it's going to be soo weird! I mean, my apartment is my personal space, and it's definitely not a neutral place, which I need to get in the "mood for therapy"!

AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH!! We're going to have lunch at my apartment. I have an eating disorder, and it's going to be the worst session ever. I can feel it! I think I'm gonna say no and have the session at her office instead.

I couldn't do that. Way too uncomfortable for me. Follow your gut feelings.

I would love to have T come to my house for a session. I showed her pictures of my house after I re-modeled. She complimented my renovations, saying they were elegant and they showed I had a real knack for design. I'm proud of my house, so it's something I would like T to see in person. Of course, I would do a little vacuuming before she arrived, but that's something I should do anyway, so I see it as a win-win. In reality, though, T would never come to my house; our therapy doesn't work that way. But, if it was offered, I'd be all for it. I find my own surroundings more comforting/pleasant than T's office; my house is decorated my way, with my things.

My t came to visit me at my house last year. We had fun! It was no big deal because t and i are used to going places together like the beach and out to eat and out for walks and the library and stuff. She came over for a few hours, and i made her some lunch, we hung out in my bedroom and talked, we took her dog for a walk (i am baby sitting her dog while she is out of the country for the past couple of years), i showed her tons of stuff in my house, she looked at pictures, stuff like that. We had a really good time. When she is back in the country she is going to come over again.
Sometimes when we chat on skype she wants me to show her around the house so she can see stuff i have changed in the house

someone drops a note at your door asking if they can come inside so you can tell them all your inmost secrets? Hell no! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I can't think of anything worse except the phone call from who knows who, wanting to know if you already have a security system. Why no, i don't, and the next thing you know.... wham.

run away dear T rabbit!!!

Don't worry, I have no intention of doing this! I already have a T - with his own therapy centre!

I would say just talk to your T about all your worries and see what she says about them.
