On the contrary, I think T would be like let's explore your feelings why you want to take off your clothes on the couch...

and you'll be like "omg this awkward" and no matter what you say T will not believe it!

I'm also not real keen on the touching of people who don't want to be touched.

SD... I liked seeing Paul with Gina. She is very insightful. If she were my T and she was that direct...not allowing me to go away from a topic like she did with Paul in the beginning of season 1, I would be intimidated. But then again if she were my T, I would probably either quit or have worked through my issues by now.

The thing is, this is something I WOULD do!

Imagine that. I'd potentially embarrass myself by telling T I want to jump on the couch and take my clothes off but I won't talk to her about anything else going on in my life

I preferred Gina to Adele. Gina reminded me of my T in a lot of ways.

I am not certain she would be that direct without the history they have together. How far along are you now?

I'm only on week 4 of season 1 so don't ruin anything for me... please

I just watched the week 4 where Laura told Paul about her encounter with the Pilot guy and Sophie tells about accident and the couple explodes and Paul tells Gina his true feelings for Laura.

Picking up the rest of season 1 from the library to watch over the weekend.

I will certainly try to refrain from ruining anything about the show. Honestly I have not seen it since it ended and don't remember a lot of detail any more. Just mostly how much I despised him and loved her.

So far I really like Paul... I like how he is human and how he is with Sophie...reminds me of my xT in some ways...

Gina I'm somewhat indifferent to... which is sort of how I feel for my current T.

I don't think Paul is human so much (I probably don't understand the term - to me they are all human - and I don't really think human is a positive), I think he is an ***. But it is interesting to see the differences in how people relate to the characters.

After Sophie told something a guy had said to her...Paul called him a prick and then when he was retelling to Gina he changed it to idiot... that made me laugh...that he filters himself in T too.

ETA: I do realize its fiction and not real.
Thanks for this!

Lola, I'm glad you're seeing T. If ever you could use the extra support, now is the time.

I'm up to my eyeballs in critters that need help. I'm glad I can be there for them, but it makes my schedule pretty intense.

Do what you need to do to get by, Lola. I hope the session is helpful for you. Hugs to you, my friend.

My xT called back already. I have appt next week!

ETA: only problem is that xT and current T know each other. Current T knows I used to see xT since I slipped and said his name. I don't plan to say anything about seeing him... atleast not for now.

Yep - that's what I liked too. He filters and acts like the rest of us do. There are more moments like that, particularly in season 3.

Cooking a late lunch/early dinner because I am hungry. It won't be done for another 45 minutes because I didn't defrost it first. Oh well, I'll live.

Here's hoping I can get enough hours between C and the senior place to get me through the summer. I'd rather not have to ask family for money to live off of. But, if it comes down to that, I guess I will have to. There's still the possibility of a measuring job here and there with my dad too, so that may help fill the gap as long as he isn't measuring when I have to be at one of my other jobs. Hopefully it will all work out.

So much has happened since my last T session (good and bad), and I still have 11 days until my next one...anxiety has been hitting again (I know because I am picking at my skin again lately)...I think the "stress" of not knowing if I will make it through the summer financially has been weighing on me. But now that I am almost hired...it should subside some, unless I don't get enough hours. Just have to see.

Well, I'll pop in and out this afternoon. My chicken is starting to smell good...I can't wait to eat it after it is done cooking. Eating raw chicken would be bad.

Lola, I am glad you get to see T today. Hopefully it will help.

Ready, good for you for contacting xT. That was very brave of you. I'm glad it turned out in your favor.
